I added wedding to the title for Dad. Makes me chuckle. Dad was always really proud of each of his wedding anniversaries. So I want to honor them today with this post.
I love the genuine happiness on their faces in this wedding reception photo. And thus it all began. What a legacy they have left. As one of their posterity I am truly blessed. I am sure they are both smiling down on all of us, cheering us on our mortal journey.
This photo is about 45 years after the first. But they still have the genuine happy smiles on their faces. Genuine happiness is not that easy to find nowadays. But Mom and Dad had it. It is a priceless treasure, as are they.
Happy 57th Wedding Anniversary Mom and Dad! I hope you're having a grand celebration on the other side. I hope I can join you soon. I am truly blessed and honored to be your posterity. I love and miss you so much! You are the best!
