Christmas Irony
As we were driving home from church today, we saw several people outside putting Christmas lights up on their houses, and decorating their yards for Christmas. My dad made the comment about how ironic it was that they were decorating for Christmas to celebrate the birth of Christ, yet they were breaking the commandment to keep the Sabbath day holy. Oh the irony.

Like I just mentioned on my blog--I will always have great memories of the Christmases I spent in the mission field because as a missionary we tried to bring people to Christ. And as people learned of Christ-they had so much greater reason to rejoice and celebrate the season of Christmas. How fortunate we are to know the true meaning of Christmas and the truth of all there is to celebrate and rejoice in.
