Anyway I've had this song (The Last Days) in the back of my head for a few weeks now. It is quite prophetic for being 46 years old. We are seeing every Sign of the Times that they mentioned in this song.

The first line of the song says, "Nations take up their battle stations". The Scriptures are full of prophecy of wars and rumors of wars in the last days. Here's just one example.
"And it came to pass that I beheld multitudes gathered together to battle, one against the other; and I beheld wars, and rumors of wars, and great slaughters with the sword among my people." (1 Nephi 12:2)This is one of the more obvious Signs of the Times. Certainly many nations have taken up their battle stations in conflicts with one another and will continue to do so in the days and years leading up to the Second Coming of our Savior.
The next line, "Patrons of zodiac revelations". I'm not quite sure what Alan, Wayne, and Merrill meant exactly when they wrote this line. But my guess is it has to do with following false prophets and the doctrines of men rather than following Christ and His doctrine. This is running rampant today. Even the very elect are deceived as prophesied in the 24th chapter of Matthew, in the New Testament.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. (Matthew 24:23-24)"Lustations breaking family relations". This is also running rampant today. It is a pandemic really. Even during my few decades on earth it has gotten exponentially worse. So many people -- even good, elect Disciples of Christ -- are dropping like flies. They fall for Satan's deceptions and make poor choices. I am astounded at how many people so nonchalantly discard their precious families like pieces of trash in chasing after the lusts of the flesh. It's extremely tragic and unfortunately becoming more common. I think every person on earth is personally touched by this whether directly or indirectly. It's extremely sad how many families are being broken apart because of the lusts of the flesh. It's amazing to me how many smart people can turn so stupid so quickly. Satan is very cunning -- but people need to wise up and get out of his trap before it's too late. We are in the last few minutes of the 11th hour before the Second Coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. There's not much time. Do not procrastinate the day of your repentance.
"... I beseech of you that ye do not procrastinate the day of your repentance until the end..." (Alma 34:33)
"For behold, if ye have procrastinated the day of your repentance even until death, behold, ye have become subjected to the spirit of the devil, and he doth seal you his..." (Alma 34:35)"Litigation allowing shoot up sensations". This one is interesting. How many mass shootings have we had in the past few decades? And it's only getting worse the more "gun control" laws are enacted. When are people going to wise up and realize that legislating gun control has the opposite of the intended effect? Just look at the statistics. Litigating or legislating gun control just puts more guns in the bad guys' hands and takes them away from the good guys. Those Osmond boys were wise beyond their years.
"People living lives of confusion". So many people are confused. The Scripture that pops into my head is from Isaiah 5:20 "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil..." It's so true nowadays. People are calling promiscuity, homosexuality, dishonesty, vulgarity, and everything that's evil good. Yet society looks down on those who pray or in any way acknowledge a supreme being, God. Spirituality and religion are portrayed in society as weaknesses and even evil. If someone doesn't agree that evil (sin) is good and acceptable then they are somehow judgmental and evil people.
Yes, most people are living lives of confusion because they don't know the Gospel or choose not to follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And if you haven't noticed, most of them are very angry, confused, and conflicted people. "You cannot do wrong and feel right it is impossible." -- Ezra Taft Benson
"Billions caught up in revolution". This is along the same lines as the above paragraph. So many people are rebelling or revolting against God. As I mentioned before even the very elect Disciples of Christ who have been taught and embraced His Gospel and His Church are falling to rebellion and apostasy. It is literally a revolution against all that is good, right and true. And it is getting much worse as the days and years go by. Evil is being embraced as good and good is being forsaken as evil.
"Cities lost in their own pollution". One word. San Francisco. Look at what liberalism and evil have done to that fair city. Literally filthy feces on the streets. Not to mention the drugs, promiscuity, homelessness and other ills of society in that city. Corruption, liberalism, amorality, and a basic turning from God and all that is good to embracing evil has polluted countless cities in this world. Yes, the Osmond Brothers once again hit the nail on the head. So many cities are lost in their own pollution.
"Question, what is the Constitution". This last one is actually what prompted me to write this blog post. I've been thinking about this great nation of ours. We have a President who is trying his best to follow the Constitution and keep corruption from bringing this nation down. Yet he only has so much power. And those who are supposed to be behind him and back him up and support him in his efforts to defend the Constitution and keep our nation free and great are stabbing him and our nation in the back. Namely, Republican Senators such as Mitt Romney and Mike Lee from Utah. They disgrace me in voting against President Trump's emergency order for border security. As far as I'm aware both of them are members of the Church. A true follower and disciple of Jesus Christ would defend the Constitution of this great nation and put politics aside to do what's right. It is prophesied that in the last days the Constitution will hang by a thread. It's certainly is hanging by a thread now.
This really hit home for me-- that we are in the last few minutes of the 11th hour of the last days before the Second Coming of Christ -- when 12 Senate Republicans voted against President Trump's efforts to secure our borders. In what twilight zone La la land world is defending your nation from criminal invaders and trying to protect innocent victims from sex slavery, drugs, murder, and other evils a bad thing?
Talk about living lives of confusion. Politicians are so caught up in their own agenda that they disregard everything including the people they are supposed to represent. Even those supposedly on the right side are turning against what is good and right for our country. They disregard the Constitution for their own gain. It truly baffles my mind at how brainwashed and selfish people become. There is no common sense left. At least not in politics nor liberalism. They are all a bunch of wackos. At least we have a strong President who is trying to do what is best for this great nation. I sure hope he succeeds. Otherwise we are all doomed.
