Just a quick update on the race next week. As most of you know, the Graham Kapowsin high school track has been torn up and is now a construction zone. It is such a shame because it was a brand-new rubberized track. I guess this is what they do with all our tax money that they keep begging for. It's upsetting to see such waste.
Anyway, we are planning on holding the race at the Eatonville high school track. We are hoping it will be open. I have not heard from the school district so I imagine they aren't working because of temporary closures.
If Eatonville track is closed we will have the race here at the house. Either way it will work out fine. Someone will go to Eatonville to check out the track situation before we all head out there. To make sure we can use it.
As far as the T-shirts go, we had a few glitches so we are hoping to finish them early next week. Then we will get them sent out to those of you who live out of state. Those of you lucky enough to participate in the race, we will hand them out on race day.
We hope you are all excited for the Myron Hampton Stone Memorial Two-Mile run next week, July 25, 2020 at 10:00 AM.
Hope to see you all there!
