Missionary Farewell

Just a quick piece of trivia.  28 years ago today I had my missionary farewell.  And yes, the 12th fell on a Sunday also in 1992.

Back in those days family would come from far and wide to attend and the family would basically do the whole sacrament meeting.  Talks and music.

I'm just going to add one picture.  Me with my maternal grandparents at the shindig at our house after the missionary farewell Sacrament Meeting Service.

By the way, best decision of my life.  If you have the opportunity, I strongly encourage you to serve a full-time mission.  It's a lot of hard work but definitely worth it.
