Idiot Inslee

Jay Inslee is the governor of Washington.  He has the IQ of a thimble.  I affectionately call him Idiot Inslee.  It's a very accurate, descriptive moniker.  How he got elected I'll never know.  Voters just as stupid as him I guess.  There are plenty of idiotic liberals in this state.  I certainly did not vote for him.

The thing about all these blue state liberal evil governor's is their lack of compassion for their constituents.  And their thirst for power and control.  It's a deadly combination.

For behold, how much iniquity doth one wicked king [Governor] cause to be committed, yea, and what great destruction!

The blue state (Democrat) Governors have certainly caused great destruction because of their iniquity.  There was and is absolutely no reason to lock down this country.  Red states have figured it out and have opened.

Statistics show that blue states have many more cases and deaths of COVID-19 than red states.  Why is that?  Two reasons come to mind.  First, blue state Democrat governors are idiots and don't know how to govern properly.  Second, they are deliberately padding the numbers.  Why would they do that?  Federal money for one.  To try to blame Trump and get him out of office for two.  It's probably a combination of the two.

The CDC and now the Washington Department of Health admit to counting everything as a COVID death-- If they test positive or have respiratory symptoms. That's dishonest and deceitful and just plain wrong.

Here's a quote from Doctor Katie Hutchinson from Washington Department of Health:

“So our method that we use to give up-to-date counts related to COVID death is not our usual process for how we track data for deaths in Washington,” Dr. Katie Hutchison, Health Statistics Manager for DOH. “We had to modify what we normally do in order to quickly meet the data and informational needs of the pandemic. We’re aware that there is some confusion about how this works and whether or not this modified process is accurate.”

It seems obvious that their data is not accurate. They imply as much: “Our dashboard numbers do include any death to a person that has tested positive to COVID-19.”

That means, if a COVID-19 patient dies of a gun shot wound or in a car crash, the data lists that patient as a coronavirus death. If a tree falls on a coronavirus patient and kills them? It’s listed as a coronavirus death.

“We currently do have some deaths that are being reported that are clearly from other causes,” Dr. Hutchison admits. “We have about five deaths, less than five deaths, that we know of that are related to obvious other causes. So they actually admit to counting gunshot wound deaths as COVID deaths.  If they will count gunshot wounds as COVID, they will count anything as COVID.  Really makes you wonder how many COVID deaths there really are.

This next quote will show you how stupid Idiot Inslee is.

“The problem is you got some people out there who are fanning these conspiracy claims from the planet Pluto.  And it’s just disgusting what they’re trying to say of all these crazy deep-state malarkey. Who are kinda suggests that this not a problem in our state. I find that hard to accept with the number of dead in our state. So, that’s a problem. And I hope it gets resolved.”  -- Jay Inslee

 What?  He is spewing nonsense.  And this clown is leading our state?  This guy is way out in left field.  He can't even put a sensical sentence together. Yet he and his evil, power-hungry, tyrannical cohorts are dictating what we can and cannot do under the guise of a "pandemic health care crisis".  I hate to break it to you, Idiot Inslee, but you're the one full of malarkey!

Statistics have proven that this pandemic was a dud.  Red states have opened and are doing just fine.  Ironically red states have fewer COVID cases and deaths than the still locked down blue states.  So why aren't Idiot Inslee and the other blue state governors opening up their states?  Because it was never about a pandemic or saving lives.  It was purely a political ploy which, mark my word, will backfire on them in November.

Jay Inslee is not only an idiot, but also a power-hungry tyrant with no concern for the people of Washington State.  He is an evil man full of iniquity causing much destruction.

To paraphrase something I heard the other day, "Will you please cancel my 60 day trial of communism?"

If Idiot Inslee and the rest of the sheep Democrat Governors have their way, communism is here to stay.

But thankfully there are still many Americans who value their freedoms and liberties bought at such a high price.  We will fight for our freedoms.  Liberty will prevail!

Faith in Humanity

My faith in humanity has been restored.  We went to the cemetery to visit Dad's grave for Memorial Day.  There were white wooden crosses with American flags placed on all the graves of veterans.  It was a beautiful sight.  Yes, there was one on Dad's grave.  We placed additional flowers and flags on his grave.

Then I decided to take a stroll around the cemetery.  There were many people there.  Everyone I said hello to was very friendly.  Some people drove by me slowly and waved.  And -- not a mask in sight!  It made me so happy.  It was like stepping out of the twilight zone back into reality.  It was wonderful!  It restored my faith in humanity.

The lockdown 'cure' is now worse than the COVID 'disease'

President Trump was right all along.  While Dr. Fauci described the consequences from extended lockdowns (ahem, I mean "mitigation") as "inconvenient," Trump expressed concern about the cure being worse than the disease, anticipating a spike in suicides and drug abuse, among other consequences, if we didn't strike the right balance in our approach.

But no one cared.  Because the people who pretend to care use our lives as human shields in order to advance their political agenda.

So just as Trump warned, we are seeing a massive increase in suicides.  According to doctors at a medical center in northern California, in their hospital, deaths by suicide have surpassed deaths from the coronavirus, noting a year's worth of suicide attempts in the past month alone.  ABC News reports:

Doctors at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek say they have seen more deaths by suicide during this quarantine period than deaths from the COVID-19 virus.

The head of the trauma in the department believes mental health is suffering so much, it is time to end the shelter-in-place order.

"Personally I think it's time," said Dr. Mike de Boisblanc. "I think, originally, this (the shelter-in-place order) was put in place to flatten the curve and to make sure hospitals have the resources to take care of COVID patients. We have the current resources to do that and our other community health is suffering."

The numbers are unprecedented, he said.

"We've never seen numbers like this, in such a short period of time," he said. "I mean we've seen a year's worth of suicide attempts in the last four weeks."

Kacey Hansen has worked as a trauma nurse at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek for almost 33 years. She is worried because not only are they seeing more suicide attempts, she says they are not able to save as many patients as usual.

"What I have seen recently, I have never seen before," Hansen said. "I have never seen so much intentional injury."

They aren't the only doctors speaking out.  There's a growing chorus of voices in the medical community warning that the continued lockdowns are having a more serious impact than the virus.

Just this week, hundreds of doctors from across the country wrote a letter to President Trump warning that protracted lockdowns have caused a "mass casualty event." The Daily Wire reports:

"Thousands of physicians in all specialties and from all States would like to express our gratitude for your leadership," the letter, obtained by Fox News, began. "We write to you today to express our alarm over the exponentially growing negative health consequences of the national shutdown."

"In medical terms, the shutdown was a mass casualty incident…During a mass casualty incident, victims are immediately triaged to black, red, yellow, or green. The first group, triage level black, includes those who require too many resources to save during a mass crisis. The red group has severe injuries that are survivable with treatment, the yellow group has serious injuries that are not immediately life threatening, and the green group has minor injuries." ...

Millions of Americans are already at triage level red. These include 150,000 Americans per month who would have had a new cancer detected through routine screening that hasn't happened, millions who have missed routine dental care to fix problems strongly linked to heart disease/death, and preventable cases of stroke, heart attack, and child abuse. Suicide hotline phone calls have increased 600%."

"Tens of millions are at triage level yellow ... Liquor sales have increased 300–600%, cigarettes sales have increased, rent has gone unpaid, family relationships have become frayed, and millions of well-child check-ups have been missed. Hundreds of millions are at triage level green. These are people who currently are solvent, but at risk should economic conditions worsen. Poverty and financial uncertainty is closely linked to poor health."

"A continued shutdown means hundreds of millions of Americans will downgrade a level[.] ... We are alarmed at what appears to be the lack of consideration for the future health of our patients. The downstream health effects of deteriorating a level are being massively under-estimated and under-reported. This is an order of magnitude error. It is impossible to overstate the short, medium, and long-term harm to people's health with a continued shutdown."

"Losing a job is one of life's most stressful events, and the effect on a person's health is not lessened because it also has happened to 30 million other people[.] ... Keeping schools and universities closed is incalculably detrimental for children, teenagers, and young adults for decades to come. The millions of casualties of a continued shutdown will be hiding in plain sight, but they will be called alcoholism, homelessness, suicide, heart attack, stroke, or kidney failure."

The letter concluded, "In youths it will be called financial instability, unemployment, despair, drug addiction, unplanned pregnancies, poverty, and abuse. Because the harm is diffuse, there are those who hold that it does not exist. We, the undersigned, know otherwise. Please let us know if we may be of assistance."

Just as Trump warned early on, "mitigation" was not sustainable due to the fallout, as propogandists who parade as journalists mocked and challenged him.  (Who knew that mitigation would turn out to be code for tyrannical rule?)

The left now plays the virus card — the key to victory in 2020.  And to cover their bases, mail-in ballots to steal the election.

No matter if the entire economy is devastated and tens of millions of lives ruined, with layer upon layer of devastating consequences stretching into the foreseeable future.

The road to power for totalitarians is littered with dead bodies.

As for Fauci, he has no right to claim any interest in public health.  No one with a genuine interest in this could stand behind the absurd ideas he peddles.  He seems a lunatic, stuck on one thing, unable or unwilling to see the forest for the trees.  I don't know if he's incompetent or has an evil streak.  Whatever the reason, he needs to be completely sidelined, if not outright fired.

As Rand Paul wrote in a USA Today op-ed when speaking of Fauci:

How come he is so understated when it comes to compassion for the people whose lives have been wrecked by his policies but so demonstrative when trying to scare the American people? ... Unbelievably, Fauci has suggested that the economic and societal impacts of policies for which he has advocated were not considered when he offered his advice.

Another op-ed in the Eurasia Review written by a gentleman by the name of Zachary Yost, titled "Anthony Fauci: The Learned Ignoramus," skewers Fauci, and rightfully so.  He writes:

Dr. Anthony Fauci ... has perhaps made the most ridiculous assertion, stating at a White House briefing on April 1 that "we could 'relax social distancing' once there's 'no new cases, no deaths,' but the real turning point won't come until there's a vaccine." Similarly, Dr. Zeke Emanuel, an architect of Obamacare and current advisor to Joe Biden, declared that it will be impossible to return to "normalcy" for eighteen months and that no matter the economic cost: "The truth is we have no choice[.] ... We cannot return to normal until there's a vaccine."

Such ideas are frankly madness, and would take an incalculable toll on the health and wealth of all Americans. Tens of millions of Americans find themselves out of work or with reduced hours or pay. The idea that society could continue to exist in such a state betrays a lack of any understanding of the social order.

I'm too sick to say much, but this is what I've been preaching all along.  So many people are suffering and dying because all people care about is a stupid virus.  It proves that liberals don't care about people.  I know from personal experience.  Just yesterday my mom was on her way to a brain MRI to look for stroke.  It was canceled en route -- because some cheesebag wrote her name wrong on her COVID test and it was invalidated.  Apparently dying from a stroke is no big deal.  But the rare possibility of someone asymptomatically spreading the stupid coronavirus is of utmost concern.  

This world has gone mad!  Pure insanity. Stupid liberal cheesebag tyrants.

Happy 75th birthday to the most amazing, wonderful, loving mother in the world!  Mom has always been selfless and has sacrificed her whole life for her family (especially me).

Self Righteous Hypocrites That Call Me Bad

To quote a Reba McEntire song, "Now in this world, there's a lot of self-righteous hypocrites that'd call me bad".  It seems like everyone has become an authority on virology/epidemiology and are now the law in telling everybody what to do-- ad nauseam.   It really is disgusting and sickening to the point of nausea, how people are treating each other.

If you go down the aisle at Wal-Mart in the wrong direction, you get a stink eye at minimum.  If you don't wear a mask you are called selfish at minimum.  It's terrible!  The funny thing is, none of these people actually know anything about virology or epidemiology.  They are just sheep following a liberal, evil, Democrat agenda being fed to them by mainstream media.

Actual virologists and epidemiologists know the truth.  None of them go around wearing masks and social distancing.  At least not voluntarily.

"Dr. Russell Blaylock, a neurosurgeon, has written an editorial saying that “masks pose serious risks to the healthy.”

"First, Blaylock says, there is no scientific evidence that masks are effective against COVID-19 transmission. Pro-science people should care about this.

"As for the scientific support for the use of face mask, a recent careful examination of the literature, in which 17 of the best studies were analyzed, concluded that, “ None of the studies established a conclusive relationship between mask/respirator use and protection against influenza infection.”   Keep in mind, no studies have been done to demonstrate that either a cloth mask or the N95 mask has any effect on transmission of the COVID-19 virus. Any recommendations, therefore, have to be based on studies of influenza virus transmission. And, as you have seen, there is no conclusive evidence of their efficiency in controlling flu virus transmission.

"It is also instructive to know that until recently, the CDC did not recommend wearing a face mask or covering of any kind, unless a person was known to be infected, that is, until recently. Non-infected people need not wear a mask. When a person has TB we have them wear a mask, not the entire community of non-infected. The recommendations by the CDC and the WHO are not based on any studies of this virus and have never been used to contain any other virus pandemic or epidemic in history.

"Beyond the lack of scientific data to support wearing a mask as a deterrent to a virus, Blaylock says the more pressing concern is what can and will happen to the wearer.

"Now that we have established that there is no scientific evidence necessitating the wearing of a face mask for prevention, are there dangers to wearing a face mask, especially for long periods? Several studies have indeed found significant problems with wearing such a mask. This can vary from headaches, to increased airway resistance, carbon dioxide accumulation, to hypoxia, all the way to serious life-threatening complications." -- PJ media.com, Megan Fox, May 14, 2020

"The importance of these findings is that a drop in oxygen levels (hypoxia) is associated with an impairment in immunity. Studies have shown that hypoxia can inhibit the type of main immune cells used to fight viral infections called the CD4+ T-lymphocyte.

"This occurs because the hypoxia increases the level of a compound called hypoxia inducible factor-1 (HIF-1), which inhibits T-lymphocytes and stimulates a powerful immune inhibitor cell called the Tregs. . This sets the stage for contracting any infection, including COVID-19 and making the consequences of that infection much graver. In essence, your mask may very well put you at an increased risk of infections and if so, having a much worse outcome.

"In other words, if you wear a face mask and contract some sickness, you will not be able to fight it off as effectively as if you had normal blood oxygen levels. The mask could make you sicker. It could also create a “deadly cytokine storm” in some."

So, there is evidence that wearing masks for extended periods of time can actually be detrimental to your health and immunity.  I posted that mostly to show that science is not exact.  Scientists always disagree with each other.  I for one have no problem with people wearing masks if they so choose.  But I am against people being required to wear them.  There are plenty of surgeons who wear masks all day -- during surgery -- with no adverse effects noticeable anyway.  There is a time and place for wearing masks.  While scrubbed into surgery, if you are sick with any respiratory illness including colds, flus,  and yes, even COVID-19.  Or if you are going to be near someone who is highly susceptible to respiratory illnesses it would be courteous and wise to don a mask while around that person.

But to require by government orders -- notice I didn't say law, it is not a law unless passed by the legislature -- that everyone wear a mask while in public, is not only silly, but it is an invasion of privacy, and possibly detrimental to public health, and I believe unconstitutional.  Especially when there is absolutely zero scientific evidence that any of these wacko orders -- social distancing, face masks, gloves, everybody stay home and lose everything financially -- even do anything to prevent the spread of infectious disease, namely COVID-19.

Like I said before, so many people are dying from lack of medical care.  And if they're not dying, they are suffering.  Drug use, suicides, crime -- and many other vices are way up because of this lockdown.

It's absolutely insane what these evil liberal Democrats will do to try to increase their tyrannical power and control of the people.  They have brainwashed everybody into being "self-righteous hypocrites that call everybody else bad" to paraphrase Reba's song.

I've had a gut full of this nonsense!  Moral narcissism is run amok.  People can buy marijuana and have abortions -- because those are necessary according to self-righteous hypocrite idiotic evil liberal tyrannical governors.  But medical procedures to improve your life and health can wait.  So can going to church and any religious or other gatherings such as funerals and sports.  As they are not essential.  To who?  Some self-righteous hypocrite idiotic evil liberal tyrannical governor!

This is not and has never been about a viral pandemic.  It is about squashing and ripping up the Constitution of the United States of America and destroying people's rights, liberties and freedoms.

Happy Birthday Dad!

Happy Birthday Dad!  It's Dad's first birthday since he graduated mortality -- so we won't be able to celebrate with him.  :-(  But I'm sure he's aware of our birthday wishes to him today.

Dad always liked to be remembered on his special day.  You could wish him happy birthday millions of times and he still would be happy to hear it.

This morning, Mom, Lisa and I sang happy birthday to Dad out loud.  I'm sure he heard us and was smiling in heaven.

Happy Birthday, Dad!  I love you and miss you!  I hope you get to eat some delicious cake today at the Joseph Smith Memorial building.  :-)

Social Distancing Is Snake Oil

I read it yet another article proving that all of these tyrannical government orders we've been issued are purely political -- and not based on science. 

The social distancing orders to me have always been nonsensical.  In all my medical training about disease prevention -- social distancing was not ever mentioned.  It's actually a new concept.  A stupid one, I might add.  Obviously created by somebody without common sense. As you will learn in the article, there are no scientific studies that show that social distancing prevents disease.

Whoever came up with the arbitrary six-foot social distancing rule must never have studied infectious diseases-- Nor do they know how to do simple math.  Coughs and sneezes travel much farther than 6 feet.  In fact a recent study by MIT shows that sneezes can travel up to 200 feet!

'Social Distancing' is Snake Oil, Not Science

Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York says that it’s “shocking” to discover that 66 percent of new hospitalizations appear to have been among people “largely sheltering at home.” 

“We thought maybe they were taking public transportation,” he said, “but actually no, because these people were literally at home.”

“Much of this comes down to what you do to protect yourself,” he continues.  “Everything closed down, government has done everything it could, society has done everything it could.”

It’s your fault, he says to the hospitalized New Yorkers who loyally complied with his government directive.  But here’s an interesting alternative theory as to why, mostly, old people who are staying at home are being hospitalized.  What if the government directive to close everything down and mandate “social distancing” actually made the problem worse?

Dr. David Katz predicted precisely this outcome on March 20, in an article that is proving every bit as correct in its predictions and sober policy recommendations as Dr. Anthony Fauci has been proven incorrect -- which is another way of saying that the article has proven flawless, so far. 

Dr. Katz writes:

[I]n more and more places we are limiting gatherings uniformly, a tactic I call “horizontal interdiction” — when containment policies are applied to the entire population without consideration of their risk for severe infection.

But as the work force is laid off en masse (our family has one adult child home for that reason already), and colleges close (we have another two young adults back home for this reason), young people of indeterminate infectious status are being sent home to huddle with their families nationwide. And because we lack widespread testing, they may be carrying the virus and transmitting it to their 50-something parents, and 70- or 80-something grandparents. If there are any clear guidelines for behavior within families — what I call “vertical interdiction” — I have not seen them.

One might be inclined to simply accept this as an unintended consequence of “social distancing,” but accepting that would require there to be some kind of benefit to “social distancing” that would make it worth the cost.  Is there?

Very likely, you already instinctively know that the guidelines suggesting that it’s somehow helpful to keep a six-foot space between healthy people, even outdoors, is not based on science, but just an arbitrary suggestion we’ve been conditioned to accept without evidence.

And your gut feeling would be right.  There’s a reason that “social distancing” wasn’t a buzzword common to the American lexicon prior to 2020.  There’s very little science behind “social distancing” at all. 

“It turns out,” Julie Kelly writes at American Greatness, “as I wrote last month, “social distancing” is untested pseudoscience particularly as it relates to halting the transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. On its website, the CDC provides no links to any peer-reviewed social distancing studies that bolster its official guidance.” 

There’s a reason for the lack of peer-reviewed studies on the CDC website.  She continues:

The alarming reality is that social distancing never has been tested on a massive scale in the modern age; its current formula was conceived during George W. Bush’s administration and met with much-deserved skepticism.

“People could not believe that the strategy would be effective or even feasible,” one scientist told the New York Times last month. A high school science project—no, I am not joking—added more weight to the concept.

“Social distancing” is very much a newfangled experiment, not settled science.  And, Kelley writes, the results are suggesting that our “Great Social Distancing Experiment of 2020” will be “near the top of the list” of “bad experiments gone horribly wrong.”

You also don’t have to be a scientist to also instinctively know that “two weeks to flatten the curve” becoming “America must lock down until a vaccine is created” is more social experimentation than science.  But what the data have fleshed out, beyond the point of argument, is that the proximity of one human being to another has proven to be a very small factor in determining the impact of Covid-19 infections. What’s far more important is which human beings happen to be in close proximity of one another. 

According to Dr. Steven Shapiro and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center:

Crowded indoor conditions can be devastating in nursing homes, while on the USS Theodore Roosevelt 1,102 sailors were infected, but only 7 required hospitalization, with 1 death. This contrast has significant implications that we have not embraced. Epidemiologic prediction models have performed poorly, often neglecting critical variables.

The USS Theodore Roosevelt had a crew of 4,800.  Given the acute sample, testing was holistic.  This yields an actual infection rate of roughly 23 percent, and among those infected, the fatality rate is 0.09 percent.  Among the Roosevelt’s entire crew of assumedly healthy and able-bodied sailors, on a floating Petri dish, during the thick of viral outbreak that shut down all schools and placed healthy citizens across America under house-arrest, the fatality rate was .002 percent. 

It seems more than obvious that there is little sense in quarantining the young and healthy.  As Dr. Shapiro also observes:

Our outcomes are similar to the state of Pennsylvania, where the median age of death from COVID-19 is 84 years old.  The few younger patients who died all had significant preexisting conditions.  Very few children were infected and none died.  Minorities in our communities fared equally well as others, but we know that this is not the case nationally.  In sum, this is a disease of the elderly, sick, and poor.

Here’s another thing you likely already know.  Politicians and the media are committing to damage control to hide all of these facts from you.  In fact, finding any news relating to Dr. Shapiro’s somewhat revelatory comments online is, so far, quite difficult. 

That’s because, for the people who pushed “social distancing” and destroying the economy as an absolutely necessary evil, this is a matter of self-preservation.  If this information were widely known, citizens might be more inclined to demand that schools and parks and restaurants and malls be opened.  But if schools open tomorrow, without testing, and there is not a surge in hospitalizations or deaths, then the obvious question is why the schools closed in the first place.  If restaurants and other shuttered businesses open without a spike in hospitalizations and deaths, then why did they ever close? 

There’s value in the media and government officials maintaining the public perception that the costs of “social distancing” have been offset by its benefits.  But while those benefits are elusive in the data, and require mountains of presumption to imagine that they even exist at all, the costs of “social distancing” couldn’t be clearer.

As Dr. Steven Shapiro concludes:

What we cannot do, is extended social isolation. Humans are social beings, and we are already seeing the adverse mental health consequences of loneliness, and that is before the much greater effects of economic devastation take hold on the human condition....

In this particular case, the problem we’re not going to be able to fix in the short term is the complete eradication of the virus. The problem we can fix is to serve and protect our seniors, especially those in nursing homes. If we do that, we can reopen society, and though infectious cases may rise as in the Theodore Roosevelt, the death rate will not, providing time for the development of treatments and vaccines.

At this point, this is little more than common sense, and the truth can’t continue to be suppressed for much longer.  It’s becoming more and more obvious that it’s well past time to take a more tactical approach to mitigation, as Dr. Katz suggested back on March 20, allocating resources and efforts toward protecting and caring for those most at-risk, and ending this soul-crushing and economy-crashing experiment with holistic “social distancing.” -- AmericanThinker.com, "Social Distancing" is Snake Oil, Not Science, William Sullivan, May 11, 2020

Common sense and scientific data from years past tells us that the best way to prevent the spread of infectious disease is to cover coughs and sneezes and wash your hands.  Things that your mother taught you since you were a toddler.

This social distancing nonsense is nothing but a political ploy.  These lockdowns aren't done out of compassion -- as the moral narcissists on the left want you to think.  The lockdowns are meant to ruin the economy as a way of getting rid of President Trump in the upcoming election.  That's what this is about.

Social distancing is nothing but politically disguised snake oil.

Moral Narcissism

Rush Limbaugh had another really good point today about "moral narcissism".  I'm going to quote most of this section from his website:

The Left’s Moral Narcissism

RUSH: ... Somebody had a piece yesterday, very extensive piece. ...And he coined a term for this, “moral narcissism.”  ...They are claiming that their intentions make them better people than you. They don’t have to do diddly-squat. They’re just good people. And they are shaming everybody who doesn’t think like they do. And I can give you an example of it... The governor of the state of Washington, Jay Inslee, I’ll give you the classic example of what Simon was talking about.

The piece I was referring to is actually at the website called American Greatness, and it’s a piece by Cindy Simpson, and she is quoting from a book written by Roger Simon. He wrote the book four years ago, in 2016. “I Know Best: How Moral Narcissism Is Destroying Our Republic, If It Hasn’t Already.” This is four years ago now.

She remembered having read it, so she wrote this piece about it, because it applies to the self-righteous people encouraging the shutdown. These are the people that want to tattle on their neighbors for violating social distancing rules and all of that, and here’s Roger Simon’s description of moral narcissism as he writes about it:

“What you believe, or claim to believe or say you believe — not what you do or how you act or what the results of your actions may be — defines you as a person and makes you ‘good.'” I have my own theory. It’s the same thing. I’ve said it in different ways, or a different way than this. Liberalism is the most gutless choice you can make. It doesn’t require any action.

All you have to do is see suffering and point it out and you’re a good person. “Oh, look at those homeless. Oh, that’s so horrible! We need to do something,” and you automatically are a great person because you care, ’cause you have compassion. You haven’t done diddly-squat to help any of the people you’ve just pointed out as suffering.

You don’t have to.

You’re automatically a good person because you noticed it and you pointed it out and you made people think you care about it. But you really don’t, because you don’t do jack, and then when some people come along and actually want to solve a problem, they get ripped to shreds for not caring — exactly what’s happening to Trump and all of us who want to open the economy, who want to open back up, who want to get rid of this idiotic shutdown.

We’re portrayed as the problems. We’re portrayed as people who want to kill people — we’re portrayed as people that don’t care — by a bunch of busybody nobodies not doing anything but pointing how superior they are! “If your intentions are good, if they conform to the general received values of your friends, family…”

In other words: If you can articulate conventional wisdom, and if you can go along with conformity, then everything is fine. You are that good person. “You are ratified. You can do anything you wish. It doesn’t matter in the slightest what” your ideas actually would accomplish, because it doesn’t matter. The only thing that matters is that you have acknowledged that you care, and you are superior because of it.

“It doesn’t matter that [your ideas] misfire completely, cause terror attacks,” prolong a pandemic and make people sicker, cause “riots in the inner city, or national bankruptcy. You will be applauded and approved of,” because you cared. You see, “We’re supposed to think that the continued shutdowns over the coronavirus are good. Those who dare to ask about the science and models behind lockdown orders,” people like you and me who continue to point out “the increasing collateral damage” being done to our country, “or the difference between dying with or dying of the virus…”?

Why, we are judged swiftly, and we are assessed as heartless and cold and cruel and mean-spirited — and we don’t care if people die. All we care about is money and greed and getting the economy up and running! When in truth, it has nothing to do with greed for me. I want the economy up and running because I ...do care about people! Now I see…

...You see, ladies and gentlemen, we are supposed to think that the continued shutdowns over the virus are good.

If you question them, you are bad. You’re heartless. You’re mean! You don’t care if people die. “Do you want more people to die? Is the economy more important to you than people’s lives? Is that what you’re saying? The economy means more to you than whether or not people live or die?” This is how they do it. This is moral narcissism. They’re better people.

They don’t do jack anything. The country couldn’t depend on ’em to survive one day. They’re the pajama-clad bloggers sitting around in their basements of their mother and father’s homes trashing everybody on Twitter and Facebook and wherever else. They’re a bunch of incompetent boobs who couldn’t do anything on their own.

So they sit there in moral judgment of everybody else. They go out there and attack the doers. They attack the fixers. They attack the risk-takers, and they impugn their integrity. “These moral narcissists don’t trouble themselves with facts, such as the reality that everyone dies, eventually, or that even before COVID-19 most people who died were elderly…”

Did you know that? Do you know that the greatest number of people, that most people who die every day are old? That’s a strange thing to try to comprehend, but it actually happens to be true. Have you ever asked yourself why? Most people who die every day happen to be old. What explains this? To many in the American left, it’s a very confusing question. They think there’s gotta be some unfairness in it. There has to be some bias.

There has to be some mean-spirited ’cause it’s not fair that the elderly should be dying more than anybody else. And this is how they look at it. I’ll give you some examples. One of them I just shared with you. Chuck Schumer. Here is moral narcissism on steroids. “President Trump doesn’t care about you.” This is his tweet after the DOJ dropped the Flynn case. “President Trump doesn’t care about you. He doesn’t care about your health. He doesn’t care about your family. He doesn’t care about testing. He just cares that his cronies are taken care of.” He doesn’t care if you die. He just wants to make sure his cronies are taken care of.

Now, to me, that’s libel, slander, actionable. It is the exact opposite. And not just about President Trump. Anybody else who wants to get the American economy going is doing it because they do care you, and they do care about your health, and they do care about your family because they are compassionate people. They care about testing.

Donald Trump is single-handedly fighting forces arrayed against him to make this the worst it can be. And the people who are advocating for no change, a continued shutdown and the harm that it brings, both physically and mentally and psychologically, these are the good people?

Here’s the governor of Washington, Jay Inslee. “At a press briefing Monday afternoon, Inslee was asked about a lawsuit leveled against him by a group of Republican lawmakers. They contend the stay-at-home order is too restrictive and that,” in the state of Washington people can safely and responsibly go back to work in certain parts of the economy.

“Rather than tell us why he thinks public health data makes a stronger case to keep the economy shut down, Inslee attacks his critics as heartless. He argues they want to see people die.”

These Republicans just want to see people die. They just want to see people get killed. Now, this tactic, it’s not just dismissive of the Republicans and the people who want to go back to work. It’s sleazy. Yeah. So reopen the economy during the coronavirus? Why, you’re a monster. So that’s moral narcissism and they’re all over the place. And I’ll guarantee you another ...thing, they’re all Democrats, they’re all liberals, they’re all quasi-socialists and communists to boot.

Rush and Roger Simon are exactly right. The Democrats/liberals always act like they're taking the moral high road feigning compassion.  All the while portraying Republicans/conservatives as cold and heartless.  When the complete opposite is true.  Moral narcissism.

Rush Limbaugh used Idiot Inslee as a perfect example of moral narcissism.  The left will never answer legitimate questions.  They will never back up their actions with data or logic.  They can't.  They are too stupid and evil.  All they ever do is attack. That's all they know how to do.  And, unfathomably, people believe them!  The tactic works and the idiot sleaze balls keep getting elected.

Moral narcissism is the classic example of "calling evil good and good evil" (Isaiah 5:20).

Maintain the Cause of Freedom

This morning as I was listening to The Book of Mormon, this scripture jumped out at me and struck a chord.  It is exactly what's going on right now.

Alma 51:2-8

2 Nevertheless, they did not long maintain an entire peace in the land, for there began to be a contention among the people concerning the chief judge Pahoran; for behold, there were a part of the people who desired that a few particular points of the law should be altered.

3 But behold, Pahoran would not alter nor suffer the law to be altered; therefore, he did not hearken to those who had sent in their voices with their petitions concerning the altering of the law. 

4 Therefore, those who were desirous that the law should be altered were angry with him, and desired that he should no longer be chief judge over the land; therefore there arose a warm dispute concerning the matter, but not unto bloodshed.

5 And it came to pass that those who were desirous that Pahoran should be dethroned from the judgment-seat were called king-men, for they were desirous that the law should be altered in a manner to overthrow the free government and to establish a king over the land. 

6 And those who were desirous that Pahoran should remain chief judge over the land took upon them the name of freemen; and thus was the division among them, for the freemen had sworn or covenanted to maintain their rights and the privileges of their religion by a free government. 

7 And it came to pass that this matter of their contention was settled by the voice of the people. And it came to pass that the voice of the people came in favor of the freemen, and Pahoran retained the judgment-seat, which caused much rejoicing among the brethren of Pahoran and also many of the people of liberty, who also put the king-men to silence, that they durst not oppose but were obliged to maintain the cause of freedom. 

8 Now those who were in favor of kings were those of high birth, and they sought to be kings; and they were supported by those who sought power and authority over the people.

Now, I'm going to replace a few words to fit our day.  Here's what I will replace:

Pahoran -- Trump
Chief Judge -- President
King-men -- Democrats
King -- Dictator
judgment seat -- Presidency
Dethroned -- Removed
Brethren of Pahoran -- Republicans

Now read with the alterations:

You could also replace the word freemen with patriot or Republican. I could have used tyrant instead of dictator.  And voice of the people could be replaced with vote.  But you get the idea.

I thought this Scripture was a really good example of what's going on today.  The wicked liberals [Democrats] are trying to overthrow our free government and take away our rights and privileges.  They've already tried to remove Trump from office through impeachment.

Their latest tactic, politicizing and weaponizing the novel coronavirus pandemic, is their most effective effort yet.  It has crumbled our economy and brought our country to its knees.  But they haven't killed us yet!  We will be back.

We Americans are freemen and enjoy our liberties and freedoms.  We will fight for our rights.  We will maintain the cause of freedom.  I'm happy to see many people revolting against the tyranny imposed upon us by evil, power-hungry Governors and judges.

Unfortunately, as the Second Coming draws closer, Satan will continue working harder and harder to take away our freedoms.  The Democrats are relentless.  They won't stop their wicked pursuits. They will keep pushing us towards communism/socialism in trying to remove as many rights and freedoms as they can.  Basically, Satan, through his wicked minions-- Democrats/liberals, is trying to take away our God-given agency.  We must keep fighting back to retain our freedoms and liberties.

There are so many examples in The Book of Mormon of the people having to fight to maintain the cause of freedom -- to retain their rights and privileges.  There are always wicked people trying to take away the freedoms and liberties of the righteous people.

It really is amazing how The Book of Mormon was written for us in our day! 

I'm grateful for an omniscient God who foresees our future, Who gave us The Book of Mormon to help us navigate through these treacherous last days.

May we always maintain the cause of freedom!

Guardian Angels

Sometimes we need extra help from heaven.  It's nice to know that angels surround us to bear us up.

"My beloved brothers and sisters, I testify of angels, both the heavenly and the mortal kind. In doing so I am testifying that God never leaves us alone, never leaves us unaided in the challenges that we face. “[N]or will he, so long as time shall last, or the earth shall stand, or there shall be one man [or woman or child] upon the face thereof to be saved.” On occasions, global or personal, we may feel we are distanced from God, shut out from heaven, lost, alone in dark and dreary places. Often enough that distress can be of our own making, but even then the Father of us all is watching and assisting. And always there are those angels who come and go all around us, seen and unseen, known and unknown, mortal and immortal."  -- Jeffrey R.  I know my loved ones on the other side of the veil, including my dad, can be our guardian angels when we need them.

Moroni 7:36-37

36 Or have angels ceased to appear unto the children of men? Or has he withheld the power of the Holy Ghost from them? Or will he, so long as time shall last, or the earth shall stand, or there shall be one man upon the face thereof to be saved?

37 Behold I say unto you, Nay; for it is by faith that miracles are wrought; and it is by faith that angels appear and minister unto men...

I know the Lord sends angels round about us to bear us up in time of need.  For that I am eternally grateful.

ChiComs

Rush Limbaugh is a great teacher and explains things simply.  I really like how he explained Chinese communism today.  Well, Communism in general but relating to China and why they lied about the Wuhan coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2).

I find a lot of people are really — “ignorant” may be too hard a word, but it works here — a lot of people in day-to-day life are literally ignorant about how the Chinese look at us. The Chinese look at us as an enemy the same way Hitler did, the same way that the Soviets of Brezhnev and Gorbachev did. They clearly see us as an enemy. “Come on, Rush, there aren’t any enemies. The world is too interlinked.” No. No. See, that’s the trick of globalism.

The trick, one of the many tricks of globalism is to lull nations into thinking that all of these old wartime structures are gone and that now everything is interdependent and interlinked and we’re all just one happy family on our way to no nation states, no borders. That’s not what it is at all. Globalism is designed specifically to disembowel the United States. Globalism is designed to destroy the American economy, destroy America as a superpower, not destroy us. They can’t destroy us, they need the market. But they want to eliminate the United States as the sole superpower of the world. And globalism was one of the ways to do this. And American leaders went along with it for reasons I don’t have time or the inclination to get into now.

But the Chinese do indeed see us as a threat. They see us as an economic threat. They see us as a military threat. They are communists. And because communism is so woefully mistaught in this country, there aren’t enough people who understand the threat that it poses. There aren’t enough people who understand the dangers that communist people pose, communist leaders in communist governments, that communist radical activists say in the green movement, the dangers they pose people simply haven’t been educated.

But the United States and capitalism is indeed considered an enemy that needs to be destroyed. Now, the ChiComs have made a good act out of making it look like all they want to do is get along with everybody, that they don’t threaten anybody. But I’ll ...guarantee you that they want to be the world’s superpower economically, they want to be the world’s currency, they want to be the world’s number one military. This is an objective that they have. The Soviets had the same objective. The Chinese have it as well.

Now, to people that have never been educated properly or improperly about communism, saying something like that sounds radically insane to them. It sounds crazy. “Chinese want to be the superpower of the world? Come on, Rush.” Don’t doubt me on this. It explains much of the way the Chinese go — you wouldn’t believe the spying, the hackery, the attempted undermining of the United States on a daily basis by the ChiComs. And it’s not just them. We are a great nation at risk in a dangerous world, and everybody is gunning for us in one way.

They’re gunning for us economically. They’re gunning for us militarily. And people say, “Rush, nobody can beat us militarily. Why would they -” because they don’t — it’s they’re afraid of the power. The ability we have to project power around the world is unlike any nation has ever had the ability to project power. Now, we don’t use it to conquer. We don’t use it for offensive purposes. But they don’t trust that we won’t because they judge everything by the way they look at themselves and they would if they had the power that we’ve got, they would be using it to conquer, to subjugate others. They have.

So the Chinese — make no mistake about it — they might see us as a market they need access to, but I’ll guarantee you they look at this relationship as they are killing us, they are winning, they are beating us back. They don’t have to buy a single product we make and yet everything we need comes from them. Antibiotics, our cell phones, so much of our daily life, even the masks to protect us from the virus are coming from them. They love this. They love that this circumstance is — they don’t need anything from us. They don’t have to buy anything. That’s what Trump has been trying to change.

So, anyway, I think that when this virus hit — and I’m being very charitable here — I think when it hit and they saw how deadly this thing is, their objective was to make sure that they were not the only country or economy harmed by it. So I think they did whatever they had to do to make sure that virus spread. “Rush, that would make ’em a bunch of killers.” Exactly, folks. They are communists. What do you think communists do to people? Communism kills. It has to kill people to keep ’em in order. It has to kill people to keep ’em in the country. People eventually want out of communist countries, communist governments. And they don’t let you.

 As I explained before, the Communist Chinese government (Chinese Communist Party) are bad dudes.  All they are interested in is "winning".  They do not care about people.  They won't bat an eye at killing millions of people.  They will do anything to "win".  They cannot be trusted.  All communist governments are bad dudes.  But China is by far the biggest and most dangerous.
