Yesterday my nephew, Richie, had his Eagle Court of honor.
I am so proud of him for earning his Eagle Scout. That is quite an accomplishment. It represents a lot of dedication and hard work. Great job Richie!
Lisa put a lot of work into making the Court of honor a wonderful occasion. It was lovely. She wrote a touching poem which caused many tears to be shed. :-) She also encouraged Richie every step of the way to help him earn his Eagle.

I forgot to mention the statistic, but only 6% of boys in the scouting program will earn their Eagle. Yep, I'm a proud Mom. :) Glad you could come and support Richie (and see me shed some tears).
