RIP Jeff Carson

Jeff Carson died a few days ago.  You probably don't know who he is.  He was one of my favorite country singers from the 90s.  Well, I had his album.  Then again, I had pretty much every 90s country music album ever made.  But that's beside the point.  Jeff Carson was a good guy.  He was working as a police officer in Tennessee.  He died of a heart attack on March 26, 2022.  I  can't help but wonder if he received the Covid vaccine.  So many people are dying from cardiovascular issues because of the vaccine.  But anyway he was only 58 years old.  Needless to say, I was shocked when I heard of his death.

I was on a Jeff Carson kick several months ago and subscribed to his YouTube channel.  He used to put out an acoustic cover song every week.  But he hasn't done that in several months.  I used to look forward to those.  I commented a couple times and he actually wrote me back.  Pretty cool.

My favorite song of his is "Not on Your Love".  I will put the YouTube here.

But the reason I decided to write this blog post was because of his song, "That Last Mile".  I've been on a Jeff Carson binge on my iTunes since he died a few days ago.  This song strikes a chord now because it reminds me of Mom and Dad.  You may or may not shed a tear listening to it.  Might want to have the Kleenex handy.

Here is the song:

RIP Jeff Carson.

December 16, 1963 - March 26, 2022. Another good one gone.

That's my two cents.
