Justice for Johnny

I don't watch movies.  I am not a movie fan.  I don't know much about Johnny Depp except that he is a famous actor and portrayed Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.  Why remember this I don't know, but the only other thing I know about him is that my cousin had a crush on him back in the day.  Perhaps she still does.  Brad Pitt is more my type – but I digress.  I haven't seen any Johnny Depp films except perhaps the first Pirates movie but I can't remember if I saw it or not.  I know I've seen clips at least.  So, I'm familiar with the character.  And I would agree, he is a good actor.

Since the Johnny Depp defamation trial is all over the news, I can't help but be aware of it.  And I've actually kind of gotten into it.  I've seen some clips on YouTube of some of the testimony.  And I must say, after getting to know Johnny Depp a little better, I've gained a lot of respect for the man.

I've actually seen quite a bit of his testimony and Johnny Depp comes across as honest, genuine, caring, generous, and human.  I know he's a good actor, but I don't think he's acting during this trial, as some would suggest. He is a real man trying to defend his honor and reputation.

I'm sure it's not pleasant to have to open up his personal life to the world.  But he understands that it's necessary for truth to prevail.

If there's one thing I can't stand, it's false accusations.  In fact, it's one of the Ten Commandments.  "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour." (Exodus 20:16)  I don't really believe this is about $50 million.  The man has more money than he needs.  I also don't think that he brought this lawsuit against his ex-wife because he lost his career.  Although, that's not a small loss.  I think it's about defending his reputation.  And I must say, he and his lawyers are doing a wonderful job.

Honestly, I had never even heard of Amber Heard until this trial.  Having not heard her testimony yet, she certainly comes across as a lying, bitter villain. No reaction to Johnny Depp denying abusing her, seems to say it all.  Because if she had actually been abused by Johnny Depp, I would expect some kind of facial grimace or something.  She's obviously got mental issues.  But falsely accusing Johnny Depp of abuse is beyond the pale. It is unacceptable, vicious, and cruel.  Her false accusations have ruined Johnny Depp's life.  Johnny said to Amber that all he has to offer her now is his blood, she has taken everything else from him. Which sounds dramatic, like something an actor would say.  But that's how he feels.  His reputation and livelihood are in the gutter – all because of  Amber Heard's false accusations.

Now, don't get me wrong.  Johnny Depp is no saint.  He's a Hollywood actor.  He's lived a hard, fast life.  But he also admits his mistakes.  He testified honestly about his drug and alcohol abuse.  But he's certainly not a wife beater.

I actually feel sorry for the guy because of his abusive mother and a father who abandoned their family.  He didn't have the best childhood.  But I respect him for forgiving his mother, and father, and for working to become successful in his career.

Johnny Depp may lie for a living, but he is being truthful in court.  One example that stands out to me – which you may find odd but to me it shows his honesty –  is in his testimony about one of Amber Heard's friends.  Johnny was asked about Amber's friend, Io.  Not sure if I spelled it right.  But anyway, Johnny said that Io was born female but identifies as male.  And during the entire testimony Johnny Depp referred to Io as she.  Except for one time when he called her a he and clarified with, "I guess that's what were supposed to say now".  Or something like that.  But then right after that he still referred to her as she.  To me, that shows his honesty.  He doesn't want to use the wrong pronouns in reference to someone. That may seem insignificant to most, but I find it profound.

After listening to some of Johnny Depp's testimony under oath, I have gained much respect for the man.  Johnny Depp's willingness to defend his reputation and honor is very refreshing.  His convictions and quest for truth are admirable.

In the court of public opinion, Johnny Depp is winning big.  I hope the court of law comes to the same conclusion.  Justice for Johnny!

That's my two cents.

  1. Justice for Johnny!!!
Amber Heard is a vicious, narcissistic lunatic. Her lack of emotion in court speaks volumes. Her legal team is a JOKE. An attorney that asks a question and then objects to his own question. A complete circus act on their part. Anyone who would defend this vile woman is a clown, as the trial has shown.
Amber Heard deserves time behind bars for the destruction she has caused by her false accusations to Johnny Depp, and many other people.
Some will ignorantly claim that she had a restraining order against him years ago- therefore, he must be guilty. Not even close to being true. That is a typical behavioral move by a narcissist. Trying to set someone up in order to play victim. Believe me, I had the same threat made to me by a narcissist. It's actually quite common with these psychopaths. Because what did she do? She got the restraining order and then she wanted to meet with him. Still wanting to control him. Not worried at all about being mistreated or abused, because she knew she never had been.
I admire Johnny Depp for taking a stand against this liar and false accuser. I'm glad he has the courage to say he was a victim of abuse as a man. As she mocked that too, "Go ahead Johnny!. Tell them Johnny Depp that you, a man, are a victim of abuse." Trying once again to humiliate him and control him.
"You tried to control her. You didn't want her acting did you?" Johnny's response, "How do you think she got Aquaman?" He gets her the gig and then she stabs him in the back with HORRIBLE false accusations.
I hope everyone will boycott the Aquaman movies.
    I stand with Johnny Depp.
    Captain Jack Sparrow for life!

  2. Now that Amber Heard has taken the stand- keep in mind a few things as her testimony may seem "believable" and you might even begin to feel sorry for her. If you know narcissistic behavior, you know they like to mix a half truth with a bunch of lies and whatever they make up in their head, which becomes their la-la land fantasy world. For example, when she said she asked Johnny about his Winona tattoo turned Wino tattoo, and she laughed at it. That part is likely true. When she said he hit her because she was making fun of him- that is most likely a narcissistic lie to create sympathy so she can be viewed the victim. That's how narcissists operate.
Narcissists do not know how to NOT LIE. Everything they do revolves around manipulation and control- especially with emotions. Narcissists always use projection. What they do, they accuse others of doing. And guess what? Narcissists come across as very believable.
A couple points here, as the world may begin to question what they are hearing-
    1. Who filed this lawsuit and why?
Johnny Depp filed this lawsuit to try and clear his name from false accusations. If he were guilty of those accusations, he would not have gone to court to expose details. He wanted to clear his name and take a stand against an abuser who is trying to silent him.
    2. Amber Heard tried to get the judge to dismiss the case after Johnny Depp and others testified. Why would she try and dismiss the case if she was in the right, with something to prove?
Notice Amber Heard's legal team tried to say what a horrible person Johnny Depp is by bringing up his alcohol and drug use. Never did they mention abuse. Never did they read any newspaper headline saying he was abusive. But there are plenty of headlines mentioning Amber Heard's violence and abuse - against her own sister, against her former "girlfriend," ETC. She actually has a record of abuse.
    Stuff to think about.
