Price of Bananas

The average price of bananas in the United States in 2015 was $.58 a pound.

Globally the average price of bananas is $.76 a pound.

I read that the price of bananas may go down in 2016 due to worldwide oversupply.

Sorry the numbers didn't copy on the graph. X-axis is date 1980-2015, y axis is price.

The above graph represents banana production by country in Central America.

The above graph represents the percentages of where your money goes when buying a banana.

The above graph represents the amount of fresh food consumed in the United States by pounds per person.  Note that bananas are now the most consumed fresh fruit in the United States overtaking apples.  :-)

I think I'll grab a banana for breakfast and head out the door! So convenient too.:)
