Mission Memories -- Port Charlotte -- Sister Wilson: Part Nine

I think I mentioned before that there was an airbrush place -- kiosk type thing -- outside of the Wal-Mart in Port Charlotte.  So every time we would go shopping there, we would see it.

one day, we decided to treat ourselves to matching T-shirts.  We wanted to get something that represented Florida.  So we chose the rebel flag with the ocean and palm trees design.  :-)

This post will be pictures of Sister Wilson, and I wearing that particular shirt.  :-)

It seems like we wore those shirts every P-day after that.  We loved those crazy shirts!

aren't they cool?

More than anything it's having a rebel flag and our missionary title together.:-)

To me, the rebel flag doesn't represent rebellion, it just represents the South.
these pictures are out of order, but there are several pictures on here of Sister Wilson and I bowling.

I don't even remember going bowling on my mission :-)

Even the bowling shoes match!  :-)

our new Ford Escort!

I don't remember this.

this was a trail near our apartment complex.  It would have been a fun trail to run on -- if Sister Wilson would have ever run with me.  She never wanted to get up early to go running.  So I had to -- here I go telling my disobedience again :-( -- run up and down the driveway in front of our bedroom window, while Sister Wilson slept.  Well, I figured that I was within sight and sound-- it is a mission rule to be within sight and sound of your companion at all times -- if she had been looking out the window :-) I know that's stretching it, but that's what I did.  :-)

this must've been before we went bowling :-)

not a very flattering angle :-) you can see why I had to run illegally-- against mission rules  :-).  But hey it looks like I knocked down eight pins :-)

I'm not sure what she's doing here.

washing our car like good missionaries.  It was a mission rule that we washed our car every week on p-day.  So we always did!  For the most part, we were very obedient to mission rules -- despite the evidence on this blog that proves otherwise.  :-)

this picture makes us look like criminals.  :-)

I think we were just trying to show off our shirts.

this was before we got our awesome new Ford Escort.

obviously this picture got put in the wrong file :-(

see, we even washed the engine!

Sister Wilson at the bowling alley.

check out her matching hair accessories.  :-)

Sister Wilson pretending that the car wash hose is a  gun.  :-)

Sister Wilson washing our new Ford Escort.

Sister Wilson, and I are real proud of our Stone and Wilson license plate!

I'm not sure if this is the same picture is above.  This is the trail next to our apartment complex.

I'll have better stories for the next post.
